Raphael
Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino was known for his work as a Renaissance painter and architect. Although only living a short life (died at age 37), Raphael left behind a large portfolio of work and was very influential to his peers. Raphael also created some of the best Italian prints of the century and helped to establish the art of reproductive prints. With Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, the three form the great trinity of Renaissance artists.
