Nick Nitta

Michelangelo di Lodo Buonarroti Simoni was born near present-day Tuscany, Italy. He was a Renaissance man who worked as a sculptor, painter, architect, poet, and engineer. His works rank among some of the most famous pieces in existence and he is considered one of the greatest artists of all time. He had great influences of artists around him at the time including, Raphael, who is said to have taken close inspirations from Miachelangelo's work. His work on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and his Statue of David are some of my personal favorites and will be remembered until the end of time.
