Currency

If I were in charge of creating my own currency, it would look similar to what I have drawn. I was inspired by the renminbi, which is the official currency of the People's Republic of China. Like many bills of currency, I tried to involve many design elements. I liked how Mao Zedong's face was comprised of smaller lines. In my drawing, you can see how the cross-hatching in my shirt stands apart from other elements surrounding it. My figure is looking of into the distance, like Mao, which is to heighten my status of power. It seems as if all bills of currency are oriented horizontally, and to make mine unique, I decided to make it be vertically oriented. The United States had $1000 bills in circulation from 1862-1880 and I liked the thought of my bill being having higher value than any other bill in cirrculation currently.
